About Write and Walk
Write and Walk is run by Emma Christie, based in Barcelona, Spain.
Write and Walk designs and hosts creative retreats focused on writing, walking, and connection.
Travel Partner
All retreats are delivered in partnership with Walking Costa Brava SL, a licensed travel provider.
Walking Costa Brava SL is responsible for:
Accommodation
Meals
Transport and logistics
Payments
Cancellations and refunds
Financial protection of your booking
When you book a retreat, you will enter into a separate contract with Walking Costa Brava SL for the travel elements of your trip.
Booking Process
Initial enquiries and expressions of interest are handled by Write and Walk
All confirmed bookings, payments, and financial arrangements are managed by Walking Costa Brava SL
Your place on a retreat is only secured once payment has been received by the travel partner
Pricing
All retreat prices are provided clearly before booking.
Prices may vary depending on room type, availability, and seasonal factors.
Final pricing and payment terms are set and confirmed by Walking Costa Brava SL.
Payments
All payments are processed by Walking Costa Brava SL.
Write and Walk does not hold or process client funds for retreat bookings.
Payment schedules, methods, and terms will be provided at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled by Walking Costa Brava SL in accordance with their terms and applicable travel regulations.
You will be provided with full cancellation terms before confirming your booking.
Travel Insurance
You are strongly advised to take out appropriate travel insurance at the time of booking to cover cancellations, medical needs, and travel disruption.
Your Responsibilities
By joining a retreat, you agree to:
Provide accurate information when booking
Inform us of any relevant health, dietary, or accessibility needs
Behave respectfully towards other participants
Write and Walk reserves the right to remove a participant from a retreat if their behaviour negatively impacts the experience of others.
Changes to Retreats
Write and Walk reserves the right to make minor changes to retreat content, schedule, or activities where necessary.
If significant changes are required, you will be informed as soon as possible.
Travel-related changes (accommodation, transport, etc.) are managed by Walking Costa Brava SL.
Liability
Write and Walk is responsible for delivering the creative and guided elements of the retreat experience.
Walking Costa Brava SL is responsible for all travel, accommodation, and logistical arrangements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Write and Walk is not liable for:
Travel disruptions
Supplier failures
Losses arising from services managed by the travel partner
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Data Protection
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain.
